he pairs a straightforward, thoughtful lyrical style with breezy,
soul-drenched beats, relatable stories and well-crafted hooks. Tunji makes
music that draws from hip hop's past as it also reaches towards the future -
"I try to make songs that remind you of why you fell in love with hip hop in
the first place, but also take the listener somewhere they've never been
before." He is preparing his first solo project,* Still Rising EP*, for a
fall/winter 2010 release on his own Heirborn Music label.
